Hypothyroidism / Hashimotos

Hypothyroidism can cause various symptoms that drastically affect health and quality of life. Some common symptoms include fatigue, unexpected weight gain, changes in hair and skin, trouble swallowing, and irregular periods. These hormonal imbalances impact many body functions, highlighting the need for proper monitoring and management. At Central Oklahoma Diabetes Center, we work closely with our patients. We follow the latest guidelines and proven care methods to improve health outcomes. Our aim is to help patients manage their symptoms successfully and improve their quality of life. Together, we can tackle the challenges of hypothyroidism for better health and well-being.

Primary Care and Weight Management

At Central Oklahoma Diabetes Center, we believe in complete healthcare management. While we focus on diabetes care, we also manage other chronic conditions like high blood pressure, cholesterol issues, heart disease, and asthma. We know that dealing with the healthcare system can be tough, especially when many specialists are involved, which can create a confusing situation where no provider sees the full picture of a patient’s health. To address this, we emphasize teamwork among our providers and patients' specialists. Our goal is to offer complete care that meets the specific needs of each patient. We aim to create a smooth care experience, so patients feel empowered and understood throughout their healthcare journey.
